I Am A Mom And Pop
Dear Angie’s List…
We got this email from someone that’s a member at Business Beware and we found it to be too good so of course we had to share…
I just want to tell you how thankful I am for your Business Beware service. As a business owner we don’t have a voice whereas customers have places like the BBB, Angie’s List, social media and more to complain about a business or shout out to get things for free. I was recently placed on the Angie’s List “Penalty Box” which is also shared in their magazines they send out to people. The crazy part is that this customer who complained about me is literally crazy and we went out there 6 times to make sure everything was done properly. She was happy with the work, paid in full and then a month down the road tries to pull this on us. Then she also told the organization that she had cancer and tried to make us feel bad for her but turns out when we spoke to her husband, he said, “What cancer?” Need we say more? My point in writing this is to thank you for providing us with a voice so we can warn each other of these customers that constantly cause us headaches while we try to be professional and make a living. -Bryan
Oh how sweet it is to get emails like this and we know exactly what you mean Bryan. Nothing against Angie’s List at all but know this, there’s a sheriff in town for business owners nationwide (as the old west music plays….) Ha!
